Entering into the blogging world...

By popular demand (well... really only from my family) I am finally entering the world of blogging. 

2010 was the best year yet for the Burden family.  After 10 years of waiting and praying, the Lord blessed us beyond our wildest dreams on October 20 with the birth of our adopted son, Jaden Lee Burden.  This perfect little bundle of joy has changed our lives more than I ever realized was possible.  He was more than worth the wait. 

Here we are celebrating our sweet son when he was only 1 week old on October 27, 2010.  The papers were filed with the state of Colorado that morning at 11:47am, and now he is ours!!!!  All that is left is the finalization court date on April 22, 2011.

This was taken a couple of weeks ago when Jaden turned 4 months old.  What a blessing for Matt and I as we have transitioned from being a couple to a family of 3.

 

It has been an incredible last few months, and we look forward to the rest of our lives with Jaden in our family.  Hopefully Jaden will soon learn to take naps longer than 30 minutes each so I will have time to share our stories as the Burden family counts our blessings in 2011.
